For all the heritage brand lovers Milan had a lot to offer regarding the classics of the fashion business. Armani, Gucci, Prada, Versace,.....want more? We present you our favourite picks out of this pile of deluxe italian runway collections.
Gucci went back in time and got inspired by the sixties and combined the style with new colours. The outlines are simple and very femninine. Details of leather are used subtly and accentuate the look. As well as on the other catwalks fur can be seen in very light colour. The whole collection is very soothing regarding colours and shapes and represents the very first essentials of Gucci.
We loved what Roberto Cavalli created for his younger sub brand Just Cavalli as well as for his actual collection. His wide use of different digital prints on a variety of garments are eyecatching. He also brought back the fringe trend, we are curious if that will come to the highstreet. And no surprise, Fur, used as little accent and focal piece. Roberto Cavalli created a mix of elegancy and edginess we really love!
Emilio Pucci surprised as well with a tribal inspired collection. Wihle leather and fur were used as well the whole theme was different to other collections. Ethno Glam in its best! We also liked the colour mix of red brwown and white. The collection looked very smooth and we loved his eye for detail.
